Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for accessing and using Peritio, operated by Peritio, LLC.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service apply to access to and use of Peritio. By accessing or using Peritio, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.

If your organization has a separate written agreement with Peritio, LLC, that agreement may also apply and may control where it conflicts with these terms.

About Peritio

Peritio, LLC operates Peritio. Peritio is a practice and feedback platform for workplace conversation development.

Peritio helps users practice important workplace conversations and provides AI-generated responses, scoring, summaries, feedback, and organizational performance insights.

Accounts and authorized use

Peritio is intended for business and organizational use. Before access is granted, users must use an approved email domain, have an enterprise account code provided by their organization or administrator, and be approved by an administrator.

You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for activity under your account. Tell Peritio or your organization administrator promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Practice content and AI-generated feedback

AI-generated responses, scores, summaries, rubric results, and feedback may be incomplete, inaccurate, or imperfect.

Peritio is for practice, coaching, and development support. It should not be used as the sole basis for employment, disciplinary, compensation, promotion, termination, medical, legal, compliance, or other high-impact decisions.

Users and organizations are responsible for reviewing outputs appropriately and applying their own judgment, policies, and professional review where needed.

Customer and user content

Users and organizations are responsible for any content they provide, configure, or submit through Peritio.

You must have the rights needed for any content you submit or configure. You must not submit unlawful, harmful, confidential, regulated, or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so and it is appropriate under a separate written agreement.

Users and organizations retain ownership of content they submit, subject to Peritio's right to process it to provide, operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Acceptable use

You may not use Peritio for unlawful purposes or in a way that violates these terms, applicable law, or your organization policies.

You may not attempt to bypass access controls, reverse engineer the service, scrape the service, attack or probe systems, disrupt service operation, submit malware or harmful content, or misuse the platform.

You may not use Peritio to harass, discriminate, manipulate, or make unlawful decisions. You may not misrepresent Peritio outputs as guaranteed, final, or official professional advice.

Ownership and intellectual property

Peritio, LLC owns the Peritio platform, software, design, workflows, prompts, scoring frameworks, feedback structures, branding, and related intellectual property.

No rights are granted except the limited right to access and use Peritio as authorized by Peritio, LLC and, where applicable, your organization.

Privacy

Peritio handles information as described in the Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy for information about account access, practice sessions, audio processing, service providers, data retention, and privacy requests.

Payments and separate agreements

Peritio is not currently accepting public self-serve payments through this website.

Any pilot, subscription, billing, purchasing, or payment terms are handled separately by written agreement, order form, invoice, or third-party payment provider terms where applicable.

Pilot/private development status

Peritio is currently in private development and pilot preparation. Features may change, availability may be limited, and Peritio does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Medical, legal, employment, and regulated-use disclaimers

Peritio is not currently intended for protected health information, HIPAA-regulated use, regulated medical use, legal advice, or other regulated professional advice unless separately agreed in writing.

Peritio should not be used as the sole basis for employment, disciplinary, compensation, promotion, termination, compliance, or other high-impact decisions.

Service disclaimers

During private development and pilot preparation, Peritio is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peritio, LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peritio, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peritio, LLC's total liability for claims relating to the service will be limited to the amount paid to Peritio for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose.

Suspension or termination

Peritio may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, unlawful activity, violation of these terms, or an organization or administrator request.

Organizations may also manage or remove user access according to their own administration and pilot management needs.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Peritio develops or as legal, operational, or product needs change. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and make the revised terms available on this page.
